Mar Menor Lab. Art and Science in an emergency landscape

Summer course – Universidad Internacional del Mar

Between 11 and 16 September 2018, we will organize in Los Urrutias an intensive meeting between creators, thinkers and scientists interested in creative speculation, interdisciplinary exploration and the possibilities that arise from the contamination between languages, tools and art methodologies and science.

The course is mainly structured in two parts, a day program that includes conferences, practical workshops and excursions in the area and a night program of audiovisual projections, explorations and other events. We will have the presence of personalities such as Alba G. Corral who has been creating art using code for the last decade or María Ptqk, PhD in artistic research, curator and researcher specialized in the intersections between art and technoscience, feminisms and gender studies.
